Dakin Miller Here.Dakin Miller, Malvern’s famous ballplayer and athlete, came in from Kansas City Sunday evening1 for a visit with his parents and many friends hore. He closed the season with the Denver, team with the remarkable record of being- the only man in the aggregation that played in every game. He has been sold to the Chicago Tpam for next year but will not know until the spring exhibition games whether he will be drawn as one of the regular players of that team, This would mean a salary between $200 and $300 per month. At present Dakin is in, terested in a cigar business in Kansas City that yields him a sufficient income for his winter living. Ho has toured nearly all the west during this season and since; so he is getting a pretty good time as well as a fat salary out of his profession. ' He plays clean honorable ball. HU record shows it.
