IHS Cross Country Teams Honored At Annual Fete; The Third Annual Indiana High Cov-' * ered Dish Cross Country Banquet was t - held this past Wednesday at the Lions •Health Camp.* Approximately 85. people attended ■ the affair, which is becoming a popular event among the IHS runners and their , ’ families. The evening honors both the C boys and girls teams.Following the meal, IHS track and t • cross country coordinator Jim Irwin ‘gave remarks reviewing the events ofthe just-concluded 1981 season. He also recognized each individual runner.Seniors Ken DeFurio, Dave Adams, John Scott and Sherie' Whiison were presented with jerseys and tossel caps.Scott, who won the District 6-AAA title and finished 12th in the PIAA Class AAA Meet, was given special recognition for his outstanding contributions as a runner, student and team leader.
