First, he played three games of handball and started the perspiration nicely. Then he tackled big Jack McCormick, trainer of the! Cubs, who weighs nearly 225 pounds, j McCormick is something of a wrestler and every day gives the little 132-pounder a severe tryout on the mat. i McCormick will not box with Herman for fear the Chicago boy might injure liis hands on such a hardy opponent, but the half-hour of wrestling gives Herman the work he needs. McCormick allows the Kid to do all the ■work.
