THE SNOWDRIFTDeMonte Pomeroy, Westminster’s giant fullback, proved to be a one-man team. He passed, kicked and carried the ball with equal expertness, besides acting as quarterback and being captain of the team.Pomeroy’s powerful line drives were the features of the game.—o—The Badgers line proved to be stronger than the rock of Giberalter last Friday when “Battering-ram” Pomeroy was unable to hammer his way for three inches in four downs.It is no wonder that Wendel Wall made such a splendid showing at the football game with such a favorable stimulus as his lady friend from Springville on the sidelines.—o—The last game the Badgers played even gained the interest of several faculty members. Mr. Snell had to admit that he was nearly forced to yell at times, and Miss Young frankly admitted that she did yell. It is too bad that Snow hasn’t anothergame at home. The whole facultymight join in a rooting party if such a game were to be played.Page Fivein order to have ample time to reach the scene of the battle with his men in good condition. The Coach isplanning on giving his men a snappy signal drill in Beaver, on the way down.The Snow-B. A. C. game has promise of being the best game of the year, judging by the previous games played by these two teams. The game will have added color, it being part of the Founder’s day program at Cedar City.The Badgers will have their full strength against B. A. C. with the possible exception of Captain Forman and Vernon Johansen, who received injuries in the last game, but with one weeks recuperation, they too should be in condition.The Cedar City school has a strong combination to send against the Badgers, but if the Snow eleven functions as they did against Westminster, it will take a much stronger aggregation than the Aggies to down the mighty Badgers.The men who will make the trip to Cedar City are Captain Norman, Varl Merrick, Wayne Slau,Floyd Kotter, Paul Johnson, Morris Bunnel, Eugene Peterson, Wallace Poulson, Ray Johansen, Vernon Johansen, Niel Hafen, Talmage Lamb, Ferril Nielson, Reese Bunnel, The-ron Clinger, Wendell Wall, Parley Thorderson, Paul Pratt and Clyde Stewart.SaiJnrr #partHFootball Gossip
