Major Taylor aid Eddie Mc-Duffee Make New Records.CHICAGO, Nor. 0.—The quartcr-mtle paced record was broken twice at Garfield Park to day. Eddie McDuffee, In the face of a stiff breeze, clipped 1 1-3*. from the record made yesterday, making the new mark 20 l«5s. A few minutes later Major Taylor, the colored rider, went the distance In 20s. flat. Taylor chose the opposite side of the track to that used by McDuffee, and hud the wind at bis back the greater part of the distance. Doth men were paced by motors.
