Monday a pitched battle was fought near Wanltead, ■ between Mendoza, the noted fighting Jew, and a taylor, of the Borough, which, after a fevere conflict of 40 minutes,-• (during which time much real drubbing was given on both fides) wai decided in fayour of the taylor, to the no fmali difappointmeijt i nd tegret of the knowing ones.
