The final score was 42 0.The Tigers came alive for the first time this year as they rolled for 282 yards net rushing and 133 yards net passing and •cored more points than their previous games total. The tiger defense held the Vikings to 27 yards net rushing and 29 yards ■et passing. Chipley was definitely the best team faced by Fort Walton this year as they •Ittwed a balanced attack on offense and a devestating defense.Steve Nunley, who had been a •econd string quarterback, mixed his passing and running attack perfectly and hit 7 of 15 passes for 133 vards passinggood for two touchdowns and a two point conversion. The Tigers used four different quarterbacks in the gameAfter an even steven scoreless first quarter Nunley struck at the Viking strength, scoring first on a pass to Bo (iilblrt. One minute later Nunley hit Steve Morris with a screen pass good for sixty yards—only a tremendous effort by Kandy Carter stopped him at the Viking four yard line. Morris scored on the next play. Morris scored again in less than two minutes on a 20 yard run.
