This de-wcPeanthlt;feat gave the Aces a record of three wins, three defeats, and a tie.The Jefferson countians stepped into ggan early lead marching the openingkickoff back to the Aces’ 30. A pass,Burris to Pietrangelo and then a lat-eral to Zinc garnered the touchdown. gc Waller, Smithfield guard, added the ..j extra point by a placekick.Granville failed to threaten until thely:dafinal period and then two scoring chances were ruined by fumbles. Ying-ling set the stage for the Aces’ first. in bid when he intercepted a Smithfield pass at midfield and returned it to thevisitors’ 40. Tavener fired a pass to Ressler for 15 yards and then the Aces’all-county fullback cracked through fora 20-yard gain to the Smithfield five,but a fumble on the next play halted the advance.
