Basketball Stars to Train for of Eastern StatesMUSCATINE. Nov. 9. (iB—National basketball stars who will form a professional team under Ills direction for a tour of the east this ' wtner will train here Nov. 23 to ! Dec. 1, Manager Ray I*. Doan of the House of David baseball teams has announced.During- the training period the team, which will include Mildred “BabeH D Id r Ik son and other prominent athletes, will meet Olson’s Terrible Swedes. After the training season the squad will travel cost into New Yorkr meeting the best teams available.Miss Alberta Williams of Texas, another nationally known girl athlete. fV.s also been signed as have Dick Butiiei:, Loyola, Chicago; Dyers, University of Ohio; Shafer, Dayton, Ohio; Cart Howard, Indianapolis. “Stretch” Murpliy, former Big Ten scoring champion, also probably will be signed, Doan said.The squad will be composed of six men and two or three women.
