(AP) — An Ineligible player has cost Bethel College six vie* tories and its best football sea* son ever.The games were forfeited because of the violation of a league rule that a student who transfers from one conference school to another must be at the new school at least a year before participating in inter* collegiate sports.Lloyd Haffenden, a freshman tight end from Belle Glade, Fla., attended St Mary of the Plains for a month last year before dropping out Oct 4, 1974, He did not play football at St. Mary, but when he played in Bethel's first game of the season the conference rule was broken.
