Athletic scholarships to two Columbus co-edsj: Jane Hoge and Sue Heiser of [Columbus have been awarded ;full-year athletic scholarships from the University of ■Nebraska-1,incoln. This marks the first year such scholarships have beenawarded for the sevenjvomen’s intercollegiate hthletie teams at University of Nebraska-Ijncoln.Jane received | herscholarship for softball; she has been a member of UN-L’s softball team three years. She is majoring in German andjournalism and is also in Teacher’s College.Sue received her scholarship for volleyball. She is a freshman physical education major.Awards were based on athletic ability and academic eligibility,, the University said. Jane is the da lighter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hoge, and Sue’s parents are Dr. and Mrs. E.N. Heiser.
