SQUIRES ASKS ANOTHER CHANCE.San Francisco, Oct. 31—Squires, the Australian fighter, who failed to make good against the American fighter, is pleading for another chance to show his ability as a knight of the padded mitt. Squires is at Hot Springs, Ark., where he is recovering from an attack of muscular rheumatism.It is on this rheumatism that he places the blame for his defeats here. He says that he can turn the trick over some of the good fighters of this region if he can regain his punch. The loss of his punch he places on the crippling by the rheumatics.
