11 Titan gridders will play final game at Titan StadiumSaturday's game against Stout will mark the end of the 1971 home season for the Titans. For 11 seniors, it will mark something more—their final game in Titan Stadium,On offense, the seniors are quarterback tarry Bornemann, halfback BUI Peshel, tight ends Norb Mendleski and Tom Prue, guards Ken Geiser and Bob Ros-plock and tackle Randy Marsh.Strong safety Len Washington, linebacker Ron Barczak, guard Sam Cargile and tackle Lee Baer-wald will be playing their final home game defensively*All the seniors but Prue are starters.One of the most outstanding is Peshel, who finished 10th in rushing in the Wisconsin State University Conference as a sophomore and placed second last season* He has been hampered by injuries this year, yet has still managed to grind out 392 yards in the W5UC.Mendleski has had the most varied career. He spent two seasons as a starter at defensive end, moved to fullback for the first two games this season and then was switched to tight end when the UW-o version of the wishbone T failed miserably,Borne maim, a good passer in the drop-back style, has survived the various experiments with the Titan offense and has thrown for 605 yards in conference action* His passes accounted for 868 yards last season,Geiser and Marsh have been bulwarks in the offensive line this season, Rosplock has encountered nagging knee injuries, but he has been rounding into shape and will see extensive action Saturday,Prue opened the season at tight end for the Titans, but gave way to Mendleski after the wishbone was scrapped,Barczak, in the process of winning his fourth letter, is the patriarch of the defense. He has done a fine job this season, anchoring the heart of UW-O’s 6-1 defense with 39 solo tackles and 72 assists,Washington is perhaps the team’s best professional prospect. He has received all-con^ ference and all-district honors the past two seasons and will probably get more of the same this year,Carglle and Baerwald have helped anchor the strong defensive line, and can be expected to provide harrassment for the Stout backfield Saturday,
