Opponent Challenges Dead Man’s ElectionHARTFORD, Conn., Nov. 3.— (AP) — The municipal board of canvassers today faced the problem of deciding whether a dead man can be elected to office.Nathan Fromisle, Democrat, died Monday. Yesterday he received 2,122 votes for re-election as third ward alderman. Herbert Orefice. Republican, received 914 votes and contends that under the circumstances he should take office.
