The rule now reads:“A player who has left the game except for disqualifications or for personal fouls may reenter the gurm- once.” Another change reads: “When a held ball is called behind the backboard in the free throw line or under the bask* t the ball shall be put in play at the free throw line in the same manner as at centre.” This is intended to eliminate crowding under the basket and gives the smaller fello\# a better chance when Jumping against a taller opponent. A rule Interpretation meeting of thlt;* intercollegiate league is to he held at Philadelphia on Deceruber 1.
