U NSTOPKroLcAn injured knee hasn’t slowed down Theresa Trudell.As a freshman and sophomore, Theresa Trudell ran in the girls’ cross country state championship meet This year, she's determined to get there again.Trudell, a senior at Cicero-North Syracuse High School, tore her anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee during a February 1993 basketball game.Trudell ran with a brace last year. The knee was not at full strength, and she did not qualify for the state championship.“Sunning with a knee brace slowed me down. I was behind people 1 wasn't behind in previous years,” Trudell says.Things are different this year.
