The Cardinals, under third year coach Doug Black, compiled an 8-0 record to win the Iowa River Valley Conference and a second place ranking in the state Class A polls. Black’s'crew earned the berth following NESCO's 12-6 overtime win over Maxwell Wednesday night. This allowedRadcliffe to finish the season with 200 points under the playoff point system, nipping Boone Valley of Ren wick with 380 points. The Cardinals, representing section three, will meet the section four winner, most likely Waeo of Olds, the number one ranked team. Waco has one game remaining.
