Ramrodamblingsi__Mrs. Rocky Rundell tells a story about Rocky singing Junior to sleep the other night. Rocky didn’t know any song except “The Eyes of Texas” and so he cut down on that at the top of his alleged voice. Junior soon appeared to be unconscious, although Mrs. Rundell and the neighbors withstood the vocal assault a bit better. Mrs. Rundell declares that Junior opened his eyes after she took him out of his father’s arm and put his to bed. But he hastily closed them again when he saw his father approaching.Don’t be surprised if Fred Norris pulls some new wise cracks this week. He attended the Majestic in San Antonio Saturday night.Friends of A. C. Agan, salesman for the San Antonio Paper Co., will sympathize with him in the loss of his mother who died in San Antonio the first of the week. Mr. Agan has been calling on Robstown merchants for several years and has many friends in this city.-t-t-t-t—R.r. saw several former Robstown residents when he was in Austin Saturday attending the S. M. U.-Texas football game. Had a long chat with Doc Nichols who seems to be well established in the dentistry profession with office in the Littlefield building. Doc asked about his friends in Robstown and admitted that he missed them. He wanted the “low' down” on everything and seemed surprised that r.r. was not well enough informed to give it to him. Doc always managed to get it when he was in Robstown. Saw Horace Roberdeau and had a short chat with him. Horace seems to be doing well in Austin. He is vice president or something at the Scoby warehouse. Saw Randolph Coleman for just a moment. Didn’t learn much about Coleman’s wrelfare. Saw Hubert Jurecka for a moment —only it is “Buster” Jurecka at Austin. Hubert w as supposed to be work-1 ing at the stadium Saturday after-1 noon and had only a moment to chat. R.r. learned at his boarding house that “Buster” is making the highest grade in the house and is very popular with the students. He also is getting more and more attention from the football coaches. He is out at the present time, however, on account of a bad shoulder.
