) Ji Grorer Alexander and | Hi* Former Wife Are j Remarried, Says Report ji ST, PAUL, Neb., Nov. 2.—(AP)— j Grover Cleveland Alexander, who| hurled his way to lame in major league baseball, has remarried his former wife. jHe revealed today they were re-j married last June 2 in Rockford,[ 111,, while he was traveling with the | House of David baseball team. Mr, and Mrs. Alexander are here visit-i ing his mother, Mrs. William Alex-j ander. Alex has spent many hours | hunting and now is bagging ducks j on the Loup River, i Alexander said he had not had a i drink of liquor “for a long time.| “Liquor almost ruined me, he i explained, “and It does no one any j good.”Alex took part in 176 baseball games last season with the House of David team although he did not wear a beard. He may play with this team again next season.The couple, divorced in Lincoln, Neb., Oct. 3, 192S, now plan to spend the winter at Catalina Island where Alex will golf and fish.
