While traveling with the House of David team he was joined at Rockford, 111., by Mrs. Alexander and they were remarried by ajustice of the peace. From that time on they traveled together and he pitched for the team which traveled a total of 18.000 miles during the season which opened In Texas. He played in towns from thete to North Dakota, then east to Boston, south as far as Virgin-ia and back west, closing the season at Kansas City.
