AMUSEMENTSOne of the chief defects of motion pictures has always been the fact that they .continuous movement, the frequent cross-flashes of light, and the occasional blurs combining to produce an effect which cannot fail to injure and pain the eye. The Britt-Nelson fight pictures, which represent the acme and climax of photographic skill, are singularly free from all these defects. This, perhaps, is owing partly to the clearness of the California sky, and partly to the skill of the operators,-but the fact remains that these boxing pictures are the clearest ever shown at any theater, and come as close to perfection as the cleverest photographer could ask. The pictures will be seen at the Armorial Theatre tonight and tc morrow night.
