Czechoslovakia. Sweden and Finland willbe Jack Deveine, CAHA president and Lou Lefaive andDoug Fisher of Hockey Canada as well as World and National hockey league spokesmen.The Soviet Union, one of the countries to initiate the meeting. will be represented by Alex Grt*hko and Ivan Sech, the Czechs, by Dr. Zdenek Andrst and Miroslav Subrt.“The Europeans requested the meeting in January.” Jackes said. ‘‘They wanted to meet with both pro leagues and our amateur officials to explore venues, including the possibility of an open World Cup.“My feeling is they lookupon an open competition much more favorably than before and it could all happen at the 1975 summer congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation.”
