rter, Saturday, May 31, t!)58Baldy Baker In Midvale Feature Winj Baldy Baker of Bolivar sped through a field of modified stock cars at Midvale Speedway last ! night to cop his third straight feature victory of the season before some 2,000 fans.Winner of the feature in the late model events was Earl McCreery of Massillon.Baker, who also had the fastest time of the night when he toured j the# oval in 18 56 seconds, becomes the first triple winner at the track,Eddie Slager copped the helmet dash while heat races went to Dean Mast of Sugar creek and Jerry Dudley of New Philadelphia. Jimmy Abrecht of Parral won the semi.Luke Morgan of Carrollton won the first late model heat while Gerald Hoffman of Massillon topped the field in the second. Jim Long of Uhrichsville won the coosy and . Delmar Clark of Gnadenhutten and Dick Graff of New Philadelphia followed McCreery home in the feature,The regular program will continue tomorrow night with timetrials beginning at 7 p.m. (Fast Time) while the first race will begin at 8:15.
