Ohio lost many chances to count, having ten men left on bases in each game. In the first Ohio could not count with the bases full and no one out. Cherry’s long three bagger in the tirst, inning was a screamer. Ohio got hei* only run in the two games in this manner: Inthe fifth inning of the tirst game after Schaeffler had grounded out Miller singled to right and stole second, taking third on Wilson’s infield hit and scoring when McFaddeu dropped Morrissey’s assist at the plate. Afterplaying good ball for six innings Ohio“blew” in the seventh.Richmond’s pitching was the feature of the secohd contest he allowing hut tii re*1 bingies. This youngster did not seem to be such a wonder butlie got by in nice style. Dougan washit hard early In the second game and his teamsters were delinquent at times.
