Ca. on (ha1 Ball Diamond.LOBE TO THE BURLEY BUXTONITE8.Saturday afternoon was a good day for the “spit” ball and the Buxton colored base ball team won from the Regulars by a score of 7 to 6 in a down pour of rain. Up till the sixth inning the home team had the tourists on the run, having the game well in hand at this time, but a series of errors, which was unavoidable by the condition of the grounds andAthe wet ball, made it impossible for the locals to hold themselves in check. The fumbling of the ball started with the shortstop, and error after error was made in this inning, the colored boys piling up five runs before the side was retired. Morgan of Ogden, who was on trial for the locals, covered the slab in good shape and showed that he was in good form, William Scharnweber supporting him behind the bat inold-time fashion.
