In the singles Doris Holt,M Monmouth's : representative, first crew the former champion, from Wheaton, and defeated her to the tunc of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. In the second , round she overcame Millikin’s player, 6-0, 6-2, and in the finals Sliurtleff, 6-1, 6-2. To leave no doubt of her right to the champion-I ship, s.xc played ad exhibition match with the Bradley reprcsonUiitve, who had arrived after tho drawings had been mode, and won the match with the ftem-u of G-O, 6-2. Miss Hendrickson presented individual loving cups . to the thiee players, 13oris Holt, Ar-•lone Martin, and Beatrice Harkins.
