Ten ofthese will bo motorcycle races while the other two events will he furnished by Ralph I*. The record is now 111)23* miles for 24 hours, or an average of 4 k miles an hour.Gilbert Seta l’aat Start.Gilbert was dolt)*? nearly 65 miles an I hour up to late yesterday afternoon. He will finish today at 12:15 o’clock. No admittance will be charged to see Gilbert trying for the record and the Speedway will be open to the public at that time. Jo, Stuuitin, Ray Jensen, Harry Beck, Tom Endlcott, Harry Long, Fred Benson and Lockwood.The races today will start promptlyat 2 o’clock and the officials promisethat they will be run off on time. More than 25 riders have entered from nil ever the Northwest and fully 20 moreare expected to draw a number out at the track today. Eleven speeders arrived from Seattle. Tacoma, Spokane and other cities yesterday.Aviator Added to Attraction.Han? en flew over the city yesterdayafternoon and distributed handbills announcing the races. He was watched by thousand* of persons. On 50 of the bills there were attached grandstand admission tickets, Hansen will do several special aviation stunts and also run n race against a motorcycle. He will fly from the Rone City Speedway to the Postoffice, while Carl Rose will cover the same distance around the track on a fully-equipped motorcycle.The entire list of events Is as follows:1.
