The result was a 10-1 Pembroke victory that evened its reeord at 2-2 entering Friday night's home game against Hope Mills Post 257.Post 305 dropped to 0-2.According to Hendren, his success stemmed from the use of more pitches at different speeds.“I felt like the difference between Saturday night and tonight is that Saturday night I was relying on one pitch too many times...rather than changing it up, mixing it up and changing speeds on my ball,” said Hendren, a junior right-hander who pitches for Lumberton High School. “Tonight I changed speeds a little bit better, and I didn’t throw the same pitch over and over so theycouldn’t time it.”Hendren also demonstratedgood control, consistently getting ahead of the batters while striking out eight and walking two.%llS§fW.
