BOWLING GREEN -Danbury’s outstanding all-around athlete, Steve Adams, is headed lor Columbus for the third year in a row.Adams won the Class A regional high jump title Saturday at Bowling Green with a meet record performance of 6 feet, 6 inches.Adams, who has received a football scholarship to Michigan State University, was runnerup in the 1981 state meet in a school record 6-8 effort. He also qualified last year, but was well down the list at 6-0.The solidly-built 200-pounder’s best effort this spring is 6-6, which he also accomplished last week in the district meet.Adams is Danbury’s lone state qualifier.
