Cajuns win in wrestling matThe Raving Cajuns won it all Friday night with the exception of a draw and a one-fall at the wrestling arena of the National Guard Armory in Gulfport. Wrestling has resumed on the Gulf Coast and will be held every Friday beginning at 8:30 p.m.The five-man Rassle Royal boiled down to Cajuns 1 and 2, with Cajun 2 taking the match after Cajun 1 lay down and was counted out. Third man out was Frank Dalton, second, Thomas Tate; and first.Bobby Field.The Cajuns took over the four-man challenge tag team match, winning in two consecutive falls, the first on a disqualification and the second with a pin.Dalton and Raving Cajun No. 1 wrestled to a draw in the opener. Fields handed out the only loss to the Cajuns when Cajun No. 2 left the ring and was counted out in the second match of the evening.Wrestling in Gulfport is sponsored by the Disabled American Veterans.
