In other matches, Marcus Alexander Bagwell and the Junkyard Dog beat Steve Regal and Steve Austin, Keith and Kent Cole wrestled to a draw with Tex Slazenger and Shanghi Pierce, and Gunn defeated Buddy Lee Parker. WCW was making its first appearance in Corbin, and several of the wrestlers who were scheduled to appear weren't on hand.
