Mary’s College, though he will remain at O’Dowd as athletic director and teacher.Ferreira has been the junior varsity coach at O’Dowd for the past two yeans, winning the Catholic Athletic League JV cage crown each year.Prior to that, he was the Dragons’ freshman conch.He played basketball forO’Dowd in 1959, when he was a starling guard on the team that pasted a 10-4 mark to tic for the ■ Catholic AthleticLeague title and went 25-8 onthe season.Ferreira went to college at Seattle University and then St. Mary’s.
