GORHAM NEWSThe Mississippi Bottoms Stars did not play ball Sunday, for the i opposing team, Carterville, did not ; arrive. They had a large crowd which was disappointed because | of their failure to come. Their next two games will be played at Sand Ridge on the followingI dates: On Memorial Day, May30, Mississippi B. S. will play ( Christopher, and Sunday, June 1, a group of negro players composing the Colp Tigers will play at Sand Ridge. These promise to be interesting games.
