The Wheaton com- ] lt;bination, Willis AvolJng and Helen Nowactc, won by a score of 6-4, 6-5.The singles champion won htr way into the finals by beating the entries from Shurtieff, Milllkin and Lincoln. She won her final match from Lucy Mcrriam of Shurtleff by a 6-1, 6-2 count The doubles champions got Into the last round by defeating Edna Kinsey and Lavina Zook of McKendree, and they won the championship from the Wheaton ; team by a score of 6-2y 4-6, G-3. The . other semi-finalist in the doubles tourney waa the Illinois Woman’s College team, made up of Helen Lee and Ena O’Konogl.The Bradley players arrived too late to enter, but an exhibition match between Miss Holt, the winner, and Clara Brown of Bradley ' resulted in an overwhelming victory I for the champion.
