Ralph Win I on, The petition arrives I at city hall by registered mail Tuesday afternoon.The Negroes, !n the wake of a Supreme Court decision apparently giving them use of Houston golf courses on a segregated basis, asked use of all three local courses.Municipal golf courses here are Bracken ridge, Willow Springs and River Side.Negroes already have exclusive use of Willow Springs course on Monday snd Tuesday mornings.The pelitioners maintained they are barred from the other courses localise of race and color only and demanded “equal privileges/*City Atty.
