W at«*li OU1 Alex Pitch.OMAHA. (UP). Several hundred Nebraskans journeyed to Council Bluffs Sunday to see Grover Cleveland Alexander pitch for the I House of David nine. The famous hurler worked three innings, al-j lowed three hits and no runs. His team, however, finally was beaten by the Council Bluffs amateur team, 4 to 2. Alexander was the: only beardless member of the House of David team.
