Finn flips, hits Brewers over Hohokam AngelsKevin Finn scattered three hits on the mound and at the plate rapped three hits to lead the Senior Brewers to a 5-3 win over the Angels in Hohokam Little league play.Finn collected two doubles and a single while teammate Tom Diamond slapped two hits. Finn had seven strike outs in going the distance. Richard Umagan had two hits while Marshall Wallace gave up six hits with nine strike outs for the lossThe Cubs came up with four runs in the * third inning and depended upon Rob Kan-schat to pitch out of a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning to edge the Major Athletics, 4-3. Brian Watson had a double and a triple to lead the Cubs. Steve Forder had two hits for the A's.The Major Yankees claimed their fifth win without a loss as Jim Collier and Casey Orlowski both blasted homers for a 9-2 victory over the Dodgers. Orlowski allowed two hits in hurling the win. Both teams made five errors.The Minor White Sox, behind Kelli Greer with two homers, ripped the White Sox, 14-7. The Sox scored seven runs in the third inning.Dan Cook had a homer and two singles for the MetsThe Minor Astros, with seven runs in the third inning, took a 13-7 win from the Red Sox. Hannemann of the Sox gave up six hits with nine strike outs and was tapped for both runs in the second inning. Crowell scattered four hits with 10 whiffs and was slapped for four runs in the fifth inning.Tin* Major Cubs, with Keii Hook collecting four hits including a double and a triple, took a come-from-behind 14-9 w in over the Giants.
