U. Of Alberta Man HonoredCALGARY CCP) — The Canadian Amateur Hockey Association Thursday night gave an award to Dr. W. G. Hardy, head of die classics department at the University of Alberta, for meritorious service to the sport.Dr, Hardy, who with Clarence Campbell was instrumental, in having the forward pass put into the game in the 1930s, is a former president of the CAHA and the International fee Hockey Federation, Campbel now is president of the National Hockey League.The award, a medallion, was presented at a banquet which closed the CAHA's annual meeting.
