Kelley, Bakios Co-MVP*Tom Kelley and Mike Bakios,stalwarts of their respective baseball teams, were named co-Most Valuable Players of the Butte View and WestsideLeagues.Kelley starred as a pitcher forleague champion Sutter, while Bakios paced the Wheatland Pirates in hitting as well as beng a fine pitcher.Both were named to the all-league teams of each league. Other all-league performers were:Butte View LeagueBill Edwards, Jeff Webster,Sutter; Jeff Ingles, Juan Melendez, Scott Panzich Winters; Dave McCarty, Wheatland; Rick Schies, Live Oak; Ron Gross, Colusa.Westside LeagueWebster, Jim Patton, Edwards, Skip Ford, Sutter; Todd Lewis, John Bazan, Brian Brothers, Willows; Tom Tomlinson, Vince Marocco, Corning; McCarty, Kevin Kaiser, Wheatland.Wil Jordan of Sutter was named Coach-of-the-Year inboth leagues.
