Green w//e Park Star SignsBig Al Dennis, Greenville Park's 6 ft. 5, 240 lb. tackle signed the national letterof intent Wednesday night with GramblingCollege.Dennis, an honor student, was the most sought after gridder in Greenville Park'shistory. Seated left to right are Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Muse, Dennis' parents; standing are Dan Wahington, Grambling trainer; Eddie Robinson, Grambling head football coach; and John Williams, Greenville Park's football coach.Coach Eddie Robinson personally signed Dennis. Robinson has coached such profewional players as Willie Davis of Green Bay, Buck Buchanna of Kansas City,Willie Young of New York and Frank Cornish of Chicago. Grambling ranks behind Notre Dame with the number of players in professional football.Dennis, who made All-State and All-District in football was also an outstanding basketball and baseball player. Dennis had originally indicated desires to go with Grambling, however he later agreed to go to Tulane University in New Orleans. Grambling then obtained the letter of intent signing which canoeto all other agreements and takes Dennis out of the market for other colleges to attempt toget him.
