PAMPA’S PRE CENTENNIAL FETE TO SHOW 300 YEARS OF HISTORICAL PROGRESSPAMPA. May 21 Three hundred years of Texas history from 1534 to 1834- will be shown in 14 swift scenes at. the historical pageant of Pampa s first pre-centennial and pioneers round-up May 31 and June l.Next year and in 1936, the sponsoring junior chamber of commerce will bring the history up to 1836, the birth of Texas' Independence.Hundreds of oldtimers are accepting Invitations to attend the round-up.High state and national officials have been asked to attend the pre-centennial opening at 11 A. M., May 31. in the city hall. A huge parade showing texas history and personalities will be held in the afternoon.Old-time music and entertainment will be shown at the High Sehool Gymnasium the morning of t,hp second day. In the after noon the Danciger Roadrunners will meet the House of David baseball nine. Thp feature of the entertainment will be the historical pageant at. 8 P. M., June 1, staged in beautiful Central Park in the bottom of a natural bowl. This will have 14 fast moving scenes with more than one hundred actors in authentic costumes.
