Fireworks sponsors include Thomas Law Attorneys, Brewmasters, Coastal Beverage, Wilson/ Triangle Orthopedics and Sweet Creations.“Fireworks bring people to thepark,” he said. “Fveryone loves fireworks.”This season there will be special events as well as weeklyevents.On Jana Lake $1 Mondays,hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and select draft beers are $1. On $2 Tuesdays, beer and fountain drinks are $2.Thirsty Thursdays bring fountain drink and beer specials, Webb said. Also, fresh produce is available for purchase.This season, a Tasty Thursday VIP area is being implemented. For $25, guests receive a game ticket and access to the VIP area They also get one free beer and discounted beer prices. Local restaurants or chefs will be offering appetizers. First up is the Wilson Community College culinary program. Graduates will showcase their skills to VIPV ;Slugger takes part In some of the fun garnet between Innings. Chick-fil-A, Pups Steakhouse, Zaxby’s and Brewmasters are among those participating this season.Fans sitting in the VIP section will take part in a meet and greet with players and be able to watch the game broadcast on TV. If you dress up as a super hero that night, you will receive free admission.“We want to see the whole crowd dressed up as their favorite super hero,” Webb saidBefore the game starts, kids can parade around the bases in their costumes. Webb said they want to make them feel special and part of the game.There will also be community vendors in the concourse with a trunk or treat line.“It’s almost like Halloween in May for the kids,” he said.On June 8, elementary students who participated in Head Around the Bases (sponsored by Lee Motor Company) will parade around the bases before the game starts. The Tobs will celebrate the end of schlt;xjl on June 10 with a special celebration and half-price admission for students.Some of the season’s other events include the fourth annual Beer and Barbecue Festival JuneBeverageCompany; Burger Bash present* ed by Wayback Burgers on June-11, a Dollar Dog Night June 26 sponsored by T.L.
