JuniorsWilson to chair new leagueby AL McNEIl,QUEBEC (CP) — Thv chairman of the recently-formed Canadian Major Junior Hockey League (CMJHL) saysthe new league hopes to operate “under the umbrella of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA).Del Wilson, owner of Regina Pats of the Western Canada Hockey League and newly-elected chairman of the board of the CMJHL, said Tuesday night theleague hopes to solve some of its internal problems today and if possible reach a working agreement with the CAHA Formation of the new league was announced two weeks ago It incorporates teams from Canada's three major junior leagues—the WCHL. the Ontario Hockey Association Major Junior A series and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.The CMJHL is meeting here in connection with the CAHA's annual meeting.In addition to the election of Wilson as chairman.
