Pioneer CapturesCounty Track TitleROYAL CENTER—Pioneer’s junior high track team camethrough with another county track title here Tuesday taking five of the first places and a lot of bulk in the placings.Pioneer’s Dave Lewellen and St. Joseph’s Jim Neal were the top performers of the meet with three blue ribbons each.lewellen won the high jump. •Jie low hurdles' and the 880 events while Neal took home the blue ribbons in the 60, 220 and 100-vard races.Bill Roller of Cass won the shot put with a 42-5*3 performance and Eric Sweet of Iineoln captured the discus at 122-7. Tim Dearinger of Pioneer won the long jump at 15-5 and Darr Shively of 1incoln took the pole vault at 9-6. Eric Minks won the a.j mile for Pioneer in3:52 3 -Gary Schreyer of Cass was tops in the 440 with a 57.7 time.Cass won the 880 relay while Lincoln took the 8th grade 440 and Columbia won the 7th grade 440 race.The meet concluded competition for the county schools.
