BE-WHISKERED TEAM TO PLAY HERE THURSDAY AND FRIDAYThe House of David baseball team, famous throughout the entire country, will play two games in Freeport this week against the Terra Aqua nine, instead of one. Manager Carl Jurgensmeier received a message from the be-whiskered club Saturday that they could be here Thursday and Friday, May 24 and 25, to play a series of twilight games with the local club. The games will start at 5 o'clock each afternoon, in order that all fans desiring to at-end the games may be accommodated.This year’s record shows that the Benton Harbor club has been, playing some great ball and they are expected to give the Freeport nine some tough competition. They will exhibit their famous “pepper game” between innings of both contests.
