5th-6th Grade Track Winnersthe recent fifth and sixth grade- 9rade team o# Dave Pettit, KenCarpenter, Pat poxhoven and. /track meet at Cylinder produced five new records in the annual competition.Records were set fn two field events. Lori Looscher set the sixth grade high jump record at 3-a. In the long jump Tim Seaman set a new record of 12-8 for sixth graders..Robert Wiliams set the only individual record in the running events. Williams recorded a time of 1:41 in the 600-yard run. Williams is a sixth grader.Two relay records were broken. In the 200 relay the sixthSpencer Wins Lakes Golf MeetSpencer hosted the Lake's Conference golf tournament Monday and won it handily with a 306 team total.Estherville and Cherokee tiedSteve Drew ran it in :32.5.,The other record was in the 440 relay for sixth grade boys.
