Eveleth Site ofi1Hockey Hall of FameBOSTON (AP) —The town of Eveleth, Minn., was selected as the site of the new National Hockey Hall of Fame Sunday.The Amateur Hockey Asocia-tion of the United States (AHAUS) voted to give the site to the long-time hockey area in northern Minnesota.Thomas Lockhart of New York City, president of the AHAUS, announced the shrine’s scheduled location shortly after ; formal application was made ’ here by the Eveleth Civic Association.Work is expected to begin on the project this summer. Eveleth already has the plans and estimates of budget requirements, and architectural plans already have been drawn.Representing Eveleth at the Boston meetings were two former Chicago Black Hawks players D. K. Campbell and Mike Karakas, Sam LoPresti; and Larry Doyle past president of the Eveleth Civic Association. *
