AggiesTo Hear NealonClark Nealon, sports editor of the Houston Post, will be the speaker at the annual Spring Sports barbecue Friday in the Moore Reserve Armory in BryanMaster of ceremonies will be Newt Hielscher of Shreveport, former Bryan insurance representative.Most valuable trophies will be presented to those selected on ihe basketball, swimming, baseball and track squads while captain’s desk sets will be given to team captains in basketball, baseball, track, golf, tennis and swimming In addition the Jim Kiel award will be presented to the best all - around swimmer on the basis of his military, academic and swimming work The Dallas AM Club will present the MVP award for baseball; the Beaumont AM club will give the track MVP award while the basketball trophy is presented by John L:nd-say of Houston.Dfsk sets to the captains are donated by Ford Albritton, Hol-ick’s Boot Shop, AM Photo; George P. Mitchell, A O Nicholson and Culpeppcr-Manning Ins. agency.The Brazos County AM club .sponsors the event.
