The day’s activities were sponsored by the West Athletic Girls, with the gym instructors. Miss Ruth Carol Evans, Miss Lola Farrell, Miss Mary Stewart and Miss Louise Snow in charge.A patriotic number by the West High school band, under the direction of Kenneth Royiance, was followed by a parade of the 800 West high girls around the track and to the bleachers. The Leaders' club, an organization o! athletic girls, led the parade with the following members: Helen Enos, Ada Chamberlin, Ethel Larsen, Nellie Larch, KetherinvKeeler, Lucile Lir.d-strom, Pia MotteH, Edna Peterson, Myrtle Wolfe, Mary Armstrong, Lorn a. Young. Zoo Bush, Margaret Haup-t and Thera Davis, seniors! Ellen Jackson, Vivian Pierce, Phyllis Prater, Ardeilo Fischer.
