Junior team leaders namedOTTAWA (CP) — The appointment of a new two-man management team to direct Canada's national junior team in preparation for the IQS'} world championships was announced Wednesday.Murray Costello, president* of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association,-and Ed Chynoweth, chairman of the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League, announced Brian Kilrea of Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League has been appointed coach and manager responsible for the team’s on-ice operation. He’ll continue fulltime ascoach and general manager of the 67’s.Dennis McDonald, CAHA technical director, will co-ordinate the overall junior program together with Kilrea.The team's operation will be supervised by a policy committee consisting of Ed O’Doherty, CAHA chairman of junior hockey and Costello on behalf of the CAHA along with Paul Dumont, executive director, Quebec Major Junior Hocky League, and OHL commissioner David Branch
